The "Théatre des roches"

The "Theatre des Roches" was built on the site of a quarry thanks to l’Abbé Jovignot, the local priest, with the help of a group of German prisoners of war. It is mainly dedicated to the staging of Sainte Rein’s martyrdom, an event which takes place on the last Saturday and Sunday of August every year, but it has also hosted and still hosts various cultural events such as “Les Nuits Peplum d’Alésia”, a musical festival which takes place at the end of July and attracts a lot of singers and musicians as well as thousands of spectators.
